Nenad Marovac has more than 20 years of venture capital and private equity investment experience in the media, telecom and technology sectors.
Nenad is the Founder and Managing Partner of DN Capital, which is a leading venture capital and growth investor in Europe and the US. DN Capital was founded in June 2000 and now has operations in London, Berlin and Silicon Valley. Nenad focuses on investments in e-commerce, marketplaces, mobile and digital media companies. Amongst his select investments are Shazam Entertainment (world’s leading mobile application), Auto1 Group, Apsmart (acquired by Thomson Reuters), Book A Tiger, Datanomic (acquired by Oracle), Delectable, Dojo Madness, Endeca (acquired by Oracle), Hometogo, Mister Spex, Purplebricks (IPO on London AIM), Tbricks (acquired by Orc), Quandoo (acquired by Recruit Holding), Windeln (IPO on Frankfurt Exchange) and OLX (acquired by Naspers). Nenad is the Chairman of the VC Council for Invest Europe (EVCA) and Co-Chairman of the Digital Taskforce. Nenad is an active member of YPO in London and Berlin.
Prior to founding DN Capital, Nenad was a Partner at Advent International in the London office, where he focused on TMT investments. Before Advent International, Nenad was a Financial Analyst in the leveraged buyout group of Bankers Trust in New York focusing on media and communications. He received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Business Administration cum laude from San Diego State University with Distinction in Finance.
