Rouven Dresselhaus is Managing Partner at Cavalry Ventures and brings in expertise in strategic decision making, e.g. investment strategies, dealflow management, portfolio management as well as fundraising support and business development for portfolio companies. At Cavalry, Rouven is responsible for the portfolio companies McMakler, HeavenHR, and FreightHub.
In his day-to-day business, he capitalizes on his experience from more than 35 business angel investments. Among them are market leaders such as Tradeshift, Simplesurance, Winc, Vice Golf and AirHelp. Furthermore, Rouven exited a number of companies, e.g. most recently Happy Kidz and UPLINK Network. Prior to investing privately, Rouven worked for Capnamic Ventures, Morten Sondergaard, and KPMG.
Rouven possesses strong ties to the old economy as he grew up closely connected to his family's business, Dresselhaus GmbH & Co KG, one of the largest providers of screws and fastening parts in Europe.
He holds a degree in Business Administration from EBS Business School (2007) and a Master of Finance from EAE Barcelona (2006).
